The Norway – Denmark sailing adventure – almost touching the rocks at Lysefjord.

At six o’clock in the morning only us and 3 cyclists were looking into the abyss of the Lysefjord. The weather was calm and the waters smooth like a mirror. I went for a walk. Only the sound of a waterfall was cutting through the silence. Bahia Sol was sitting comfortably, awaiting the captain permission to leave. Rysiu was trying to send the drone up to capture few pictures, but as we were at “the end of the world”, the technology was struggling.

The Santorini disaster – sailing in Greece.

I always wanted to visit Santorni, see the white houses streaming down the volcanic hills and witness the sunset over the edges of the island. We knew there is no real facilities for the sailors, the port is too small and the depths of 150m will not allow you to drop an anchor. Staying overnight is not only costly (we were charged 100 euros), but could be dangerous, as we found out later on.
